Maa Meldi General Stores has supplied Indian manufacturers from Ahmedabad since 2013. We are deliberately small enough that you know who you are talking to.
Our story
Started with one account and a borrowed tempo
Nank Ram Bakoliya started the business in Ahmedabad in 2013, supplying fasteners and bearings to three textile units in Rakhial. The first delivery vehicle was borrowed. The first warehouse was a rented room behind the A.D.C Bank.
What has not changed is how the work gets priced. Difficult enquiries still cross the proprietor's desk, and the delivery date on a quotation is still a date somebody has personally checked against stock and transport.
Today we hold accounts with 96 manufacturers and supply 528 plants, mostly in Gujarat and Maharashtra. We have stayed a trading business rather than becoming a marketplace, because the accountability is the product.

If an item is not something we can source properly, we say so and point you elsewhere. A bad order costs more than a lost one.
